FINISHING ACADEMY ("we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of families. This policy explains how we handle information collected through finishingacademy.school, our inquiry form, pre-application materials, and communications about our programs. It is written for parents and legal guardians considering the FINISHING ACADEMY enrichment and leadership-development program for girls ages 8–12.

Information we collect

Depending on the form or stage of the process, a parent or guardian may provide:

• Parent or guardian details: name, relationship to the student, email address, telephone number, city, and state.
• Student details: first or full name, preferred name, age, grade, and school type.
• Program and application details: program or scholarship interest, answers about a student’s interests, strengths, activities, goals, or areas for growth, referral source, messages, acknowledgments, signature, and date.
• Website and security details: our hosting or form-delivery providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, and submission time to operate and protect their services.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or card information, medical information, or other sensitive details through the website inquiry form or pre-application materials. The public inquiry form does not accept payments.

How we use information

We use information provided by a parent or guardian to respond to an inquiry, provide requested Parent Preview or program information, review an application or scholarship request, communicate about enrollment and participation, maintain necessary business records, protect the website and our program, and meet legal obligations.

Submitting an inquiry does not enroll a student or create a recurring marketing subscription. We use contact details to respond to and follow up on the inquiry. Any promotional email or text program will require a separate choice and will include a way to opt out.

Children’s information and parent choices

Our inquiry and pre-application materials are designed for parents and legal guardians to complete. Children under 13 should not submit information through the website themselves. We collect information about a student when a parent or guardian provides it for an inquiry, application, scholarship review, or program administration. We do not invite children to create website accounts or submit online applications on their own.

If you believe a child has submitted information directly, contact us using the details below. We will review the request and delete the information when appropriate and permitted by law. Where applicable law requires notice or parental consent before information is collected directly from a child, we will follow those requirements.

Photos, video, and other publishing permissions are handled separately through parent or guardian enrollment documents. The public inquiry form does not request or upload student photos.

Form delivery and service providers

The website inquiry form is currently delivered through FormSubmit, which transmits the submitted information to the FINISHING ACADEMY Admissions email address and sends an automated receipt. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days; its handling of information is also governed by its privacy terms. After an inquiry is delivered, an email copy may remain in our Admissions mailbox while we handle the inquiry and maintain necessary records.

We may use service providers for website hosting, form delivery, email, enrollment administration, or payment processing when those services are used. They may process information on our behalf to provide their services. A provider’s own privacy terms may also apply to information it collects directly through its service.

We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party behavioral advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the safety, rights, or security of a student, family, FINISHING ACADEMY, or another person.

Cookies and analytics

The current website is not configured with advertising pixels or a third-party analytics service. Our hosting provider and form-delivery provider may process technical information needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot their services. Those providers may use their own cookies or similar technologies on their services; please review their privacy terms for details.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry and application information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage admissions and program records, and meet applicable legal or business recordkeeping obligations. We then delete or de-identify it when reasonably practicable. FormSubmit separately states that it retains submitted forms for 30 days.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy requests

You may contact us to ask whether we hold information about you or your child, or to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and records we are required to keep. Parents and guardians may make requests about information they provided for a student. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.

To make a request, email customerservice@finishingacademy.school or call (817) 720-8570. If we deny a request where applicable law provides an appeal, reply to our decision to request a review. If an appeal is denied, we will provide any further complaint instructions required by applicable law.

Third-party websites

Our website may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy notice for any third-party service before submitting information there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website, forms, or program practices change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the date above. If a change materially affects how we use information already provided, we will provide notice when required by law.
